Message from CEO

Focus 2008

We recently bid farewell to 2007, and the time has come to focus on 2008 and achieve both professional and personal goals that we have set for ourselves.

Get ready!  The qualification period for President’s Club 2009 –to be held in Los Cabos, Mexico- started on January 1. All our producers and brokers under contract and in good standing with Pan-American will be able to compete during 18 months and acquire a passport to paradise

Only winners like you can earn this passport, and we are here to support you.  One great example is the fact that even though the year has just begun, Pan-American Life Insurance Group has already witnessed four key accomplishments that will help you meet your goals and are the cause of much pride and celebration.

1) It has been 44 days since I assumed the role of chairman of the board.  It is an honor to lead this company and look forward to continue collaborating with John Kelly, as chairman emeritus and lead director.

I will continue Mr. Kelly’s legacy of not only maintaining but also strengthening the company’s senior management team, preserve our company’s rich heritage and continue to set the stage for future growth.

2) In Ecuador, Pan-American Life Medical Services launched its first prepaid medicine program offered through our group insurance division

3) Panama shined as it welcomed Health Trust (individual life plan with very attractive local and international coverage) and Trust Life (universal life plan, designed for the accumulation of long term securities.)

4) Finally, we had the honor of hosting six distinguished producers and their guests to our wonderful city.  As the winners of our Mardi Gras Sales Contest, they enjoyed front row seating during the four-day Mardi Gras extravaganza that can only be experienced in New Orleans. It was a true pleasure to be able to enjoy with them everything that New Orleans has to offer and share the traditions of Mardi Gras, which has been celebrated for more than 300 years.

2008 is the year to demonstrate once again your commitment to Pan-American Life.   I know that all of you will be President’s Club 2009 qualifiers by the end of the year.  Los Cabos is waiting! Earn your passport to paradise!
